Wicked Clothes: Target has pledged $120,000 in cash to promote the legalization of homosexual marriage.

Just saw this in an email from one of my professors who is an adviser for the Lesbian and Gay Vet Med Association at school. Target’s website says it will donate 100% of T-shirt sales from customers during the month of June to Family Equality Council.

This is pretty sweet. But can I please find some sort of supporting apparel that isn’t rainbow or spelled incorrectly? I don’t understand the trend. I get the whole flag thing of course, but it’s just too much for me. I mean, we’re all just normal people no matter our sexual preferences so can’t I just wear clothes that make me look like an adult and still support these causes? Not trying to belittle this cause, It’s outstanding that such a large company is doing this. Just a pet peeve of mine..
